I purchased
A Toshiba 465CDX from CompUSA on November 18, 97. August 30, 98 it crashed.
Since the Toshiba had a one year warrenty/and I had purchased a three service
contract from CompUSA I took it in for repair on September 3, 98.
That
was the end. CompUSA says it is a Toshiba problem. Toshiba says it is a
CompUSA problem. No one wants to fix the computer. None of my many phone
calls have been returned, if I could acyually get to a person. Usually
it is 20 minutes of "HOLD" with incessent sales pitches to be forced to
listen to.
Here is
what I did and I would suggest everyone do the same.
Send a
formal complaint to your local State Attorney General.
Send a
certifired letter to -
