A nice little story about the computer giant. It all started in April when i bought i HP from Compusa. I paid alot of money for it and i was also hard sold on an extended warranty. Well, as you know the employees make a bonus if they sell an extended warranty. Well my computer started freezing
up soon after i bought it, I could not reset or control-Alt-Detete
So i call a local store and they say the only way to determine if it is hardware is to do i complete restore back to factory settings. I went ahead and did that erasing everything on my drives. Well before i even put programs back on it still froze up. I called tech support back,
and was on hold for 45 min before someone helped me. I told them what i
She finally scheduled me and said someone will call me within 48 hours to schedule the appointment. Well after 10 days nobody called me. So i called the store manager where i bought the computer. He gave me the number of the person in Mesa the goes on the calls. He said i should have been called, but the call was sent to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Then he proceeded to tell me the part was on backorder. Well that was almost 2 weeks ago. Compusa will hard sell you a warranty and then make it so hard to use it that you will get fed up and deal with it. I will never buy another product
from Compusa.
