Bought a Palm VII this summer and after having one problem after another took it back to exchange it for a new one.  I had everything including the box, adapters, book, cradle and my receipt but was informed that they would do nothing to help if it was beyond the 14 days printed on the receipt
unless I had purchased an additional warranty!  I asked him what I was supposed to do.  He said he didn't know.  It wasn't his concern . . . for me to try to get some help on the internet or something.  No more CompUSA! I've never known of a store with nerve enough to have a policy like that!
