Hello,
I had gotten 2 25 cent raises for putting up with more BS than I've ever seen and my hard work. After about a year the warehouse manager quit and I put in for the job. Thinking I would get it since I'd been in the warehouse the longest except for the manager that quit. Boy, was I wrong! After about a month of working my f*%cking ass off they give the position to one of the salesmen. No big deal, right? I continued working in the warehouse for another 5 months doing even more work due to the new manager being even more lazy than the previous manager. So in August of 2001 they told me that there was no longer enough hours in the warehouse for me to work back there. So I was moved onto the sales floor as a "merchandiser". By this time I was getting pretty pissed off and didn't really care about the job anymore. After being moved onto the sales floor I became even more of a "gimp", working my ass off while managers and even other employees slacked off. As soon as I tried to slack off I found a manager in my face asking what I was doing? In Jan. of 2002 a new employee started. Turns out that she was transfered from the Knocksville TN store for some unknown reason. After about a week she all of a sudden became the supervisor over merchandising. I wasn't even considered for the job, nor was it brought to my attention. I swear these people are paying the managers off or something, first the warehouse now this? Strike 1, I was really getting ticked off now. A week later I got my annual review, which in turn I got a 25 cent raise. After working there 2 years and working my ass of all I get is a measley $8.75 an hour? Strike 2...they just couldn't afford that other 25 cents to up me to $9. In March of 2002 I applied to be a technician assistant called a "service writer". Knowing more than the next guy about PCs I thought I'd get the job. Wrong again. I was told that when my name was mentioned to the managers that would approve me to being transfered to the tech shop, they started laughing. Strike 3, CompUSA had struke out. I was destined to do everything
in my power to break any rule CompUSA had. Before I could start my
mischeif, I was fired due to a customer threatening me with bodily harm.
Shows just how good CompUSA
