I
recently
tried to get a question answered about the sudden disappearance of my
Microsoft
outlook program which came pre loaded from Compaq on a machine I
purchased
two years ago. I wanted either a copy of the software or somebody
to help me fix it.
After
getting the runaround on their dreadful telephone answering machines, I
finally spoke to a real person. It was the billing
department!
The bottom line, they will not speak to me about problems unless I pay
them $39 first.
This
is outrageous! It is like taking your car to the garage and
asking
to speak to a mechanic to diagnose a problem and before you can do that
they send you to the billing department. Who knows if they would
be able to help me?
Every
other trade I deal with gives me estimates first and is keen for my
business.
I
guess
I now own my last Compaq.
Can
anybody
tell me the email address of members of the Compaq board, I wish to
complain
directly to them
