Poor Compaq computer

I purchased a new Compaq computer at Radio Shack in SiouxCity,Ia, it was purchased in May of 2001,needless to say I didnt get an extended warranty as I didnt think it necessary, well two months after my warranty expired the Motherboard had to be replaced, probably a good thing I didnt take it to Radio Shack as they would have probably replaced it with their Motherboard which I understand Compaq has had a lot of complaints about,I did go to Radio Shack with my Compaq Motherboard to see if anything could be done, which I received a quick reply NO.am glad to have it replaced with a reliable Motherboard, not a COMPAQ,and know if I ever get another PC it will not be a COMPAQ.
