Try installing a modem in a 2266 Presario that it does'nt like-------try finding the drivers for video------after you try Compaq's Restore(DESTROY) that does'nt work and you end up using an OEM copy of Windows 98 SE---No modem or video driversspent hours searching the net for them------never again -----will build my own from now on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Tech support e-mailed me some fine instructions.......if this doesn't work buy another Restore disk ---HA
HA--the one that came with the machine does'nt work ---- waste another 10.00 --no way!!!I figure this piece of sh__t might make a good boat anchor!!!!!!!!!!!!
