Since hewlet packard bought out compaq.....they are still re-routing tech question calls to a seperate call center then regular HP customers. They routed all my calls to INDIA where techs named 'Sai' and 'Pashel'.....insisted I finally do a quick restore, which of course failed and left me with 'no operating systems' AT ALL.....just a blank screen!!! I finally got ahold of the executive offices at HP .......after months of screaming and documenting, I have the executive offices of HP contacting ME ;o) by email and phone. Anyone wanting to express your frustrations about the 'lemon' compaq you purchased, at a most likely outrageous price, that failed in less then two years.....email the executive offices of HP email_ecag@hp.com it took me months to get to that level of HP.....and I gladly share the email addy with you all who are going through the same thing. Good luck! I intend to rant until they either replace my system with a new one, or reimburse me my entire savings I spent on their piece of crap! K.
