I came across YOUR site after being passed thru to a Damark ad while searching for a particular item on the WEB.

You are correct.
I was charged $79.00 for a 1999 "membership" which I hadn't requested,  and then again over $100 for the year 2000.

I objected & was advised that I HADN'T RESPONDED to  a mailing which stated I would be charged this fee if I DID NOT CALL THEM TO DECLINE!  I never asked for it!!! The charge was taken from a debit card I had activated only in 1998 & I had no order with Damark anywhere close to the time frame.  Once I had ordered an inexpensive "boom box" from Damark for my son who was then in high school.. He's now 26 years old ! My only purchase!

I did not even have the Bank nor Debit account at the time I ordered. How did they get my current Debit card #?????

In any case I called & was told they would cancel on a pro-rated basis ONLY for the year 2000 charge...TOUGH about the 1999 charge. My bank told me to cancel my Debit info, that this was nothing new to them & issued me a new Debit card. By the way, my home is for sale & I am asking a quarter of a million. If you don't respond, it's a contract & we'll be charging your account.  Same deal as Damark, right?
