These folks must be
kidding.
And if they aren't it is doubly frustrating.
We installed Eudora 5.1
and
the installation produced no errors. First indication of trouble is
their
interface and navigation through the product. This is better than MS
Outlook?
I don't think so.
Translated address book
- we
have only one. In Eudora, address book listed translated entries by
last
name only and there is no way to have them appear as they do in Outlook.
As a long-time system
integrator
I know the sometimes negative feelings re: Microsoft. But this product
does nothing but buttress the argument that MS offers the most
desireable
of alternatives.
In my opinion (proper
legal
disclaimer) this product is junk and does not serve the intended
purpose
- regardless of what their license and disclaimers may include.
My advice is to avoid
Eudora
at all costs. If your concerns are essentially viruses, worms and
problems
written specifically to attack Outlook, install inexpensive firewall
software
and get on with life.
