Dear Mr. Marflake,
I left a detailed message on
your voice mail explaining my situation, but I would like to follow up
with this e-mail to ensure that no more of my time is wasted on this issue.
As you will recall, you and
I spoke in December regarding my pager account. I was extremely dissatisfied
with the service I received from Pagenet.
My credit card was not being
billed as it was supposed to be, and I was being held delinquent. My pager
service was suspended, without any prior notification to me. In fact,
I continued to receive bills marked "DO NOT PAY", stating that my charge
card would be billed.
When I complained about the
situation, I was called a liar by your accounting department. I was required
to spend my time researching my credit card account to prove to Pagenet
that the error was Pagenet's. The situation digressed from there.
When I carried my complaint
to you, I made it VERY clear that I did not wish to continue as a Pagenet
customer. You offered to credit my account with the monies in question,
and discontinue my pager service.
Up until a few days ago it
appeared that you had done so and that the matter had been resolved.
However, I have just received a statement from Pagenet listing a "reconnect
fee" that will be applied to my charge card.
Mr. Marflake, I thought I had
made myself quite clear, but evidently not. I have ABSOLUTELY NO
DESIRE TO EVER DO BUSINESS WITH PAGENET AGAIN!!
I have canceled my account
with Pagenet, and gotten a company (Skytel) that is capable of handling
a simple pager account without making a federal case of it. I have
not used the Pagenet pager since our conversation in December. I
acquired the Skytel account immediately, and they have been billing my
credit card ever since without any difficulty (maybe you should have your
accounting department give Skytel a call and find out how they do that?).
I certainly at no time authorized that my Pagenet account be "reconnected".
This is a perfect example of
why I do not ever wish to even hear the name "Pagenet" mentioned again.
Pagenet is a nightmare.
Pagenet is a clusterfuc. GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!
